Classes Activities Contact

Ceoltóiri an Doirin is a volunteer organisation whose objective is to foster traditional irish music in the community of Ballindereen. We offer an instrument rental scheme where young musicians can rent an instrument for a year to try it out. Lessons, group classes, access to workshops and recording and performance opportunities are all available to our musicians.
We have recorded one cassette tape and one CD of local musicians and singers, and have compiled 2 books of the tunes most often played locally.
Monthly music session takes palce in Raferty's Rest Kilcolgan on the first Friday of every month. Starts around 9.30 p.m.
